Snap on trolley jack replacement spring source?

I am going to hopefully pick up a used circa 20 year old Snap On high lift trolley jack in the morning similar to these



The seller says it has a broken spring on the pedal-



I will get better photos of this spring tomorrow.

It may also need seals I'm not sure.

I don't know any snap on dealers so does anyone know a good source for a spring like this please? Or if I measure it maybe I can find or alter something that will fit.

Or does anyone know what model of jacks these are? Seller says its Blue Point and red colour. Snap on / Bluepoint are essentially the same thing I guess. I will look at the old labels tomorrow also and see i what, if anything I can make out.

I also found this post on here which looks to be the same type of jack! The seller said 2 tonne but it must be 1.5 tonne

I have a 1.5 ton long reach trolly jack which I bought back in the early 1990's I have cleaned out the reservoir and replaced the oil as the jack stoped lifting any weight. I can pump it up to full extent without load but under the car its as if the pressure relief valve is coming in to play to early. advise appreciated

It's definitely going to need a full reseal kit.

But at £50 I'm still happy. An old Bluepoint jack which I think were made in the UK is going to be much better than any new China garbage.

It's all there and steam cleaning planned for later today to remove all the old crusted oil.

It lifts very high which was what interested me in it and to add to my other 6 Sealey premier jacks.

Very similar style to my Weber UK jack from around 2007, mine says Made in the EEC but if your jack is old enough I think it could have been made in the UK.
