Snap-on (Cebora) pro mig 160 amp

Hi everyone this is my first post on here.

Thinking of purchasing a Snap on pro mig 160 amp welder. The problem is i can't find much information about it.

A few questions

Firstly as welders go is it a decent one ?

Can it be run off a normal plug ?

Will it be suitable for a beginner ?

Cebora machines appear to be well liked by those that own them or have had one in the past.

The 'Snap On' badge tends to raise the price due to the following the firms tools have, a Cebora will usually sell for less than a Cebora that has been rebadged as Snap On.

Yes it will run off the normal 13amp supply, it may or may not blow the fuse with continual welding at it's top range, this seems to vary from owner to owner, some having no problems and others blowing fuses at anything over 130 amps.

If it is suitable for you will depend what work you have planned for it but I should imagine it will be one of the better hobby machines.

I agree with steve, Go for a cebora badged machine instead of one with a snap on badge, People who sell snap on machines are trying to recoup some of their intial expense so you will find them a lot dearer than the same model made by cebora who are a pretty decent company in its own right
