snap on 130 gas

i have a snap on 130 turbo which i am trying to set up. i just got a small bottle of argon/co2 and the pressure goes up when connected however when i press the trigger the air is completly released, and i cant hear any more gas coming out after that. is that how it is ment to be?

No, you should hear gas coming out for as long as the trigger is pressed.

the pressure builds up and once i press the trigger i hear all the gas release and then cannot hear anything else

The regulators for disposable bottles are often a bit suspect. Open it fully and try that. I have the Cebora version of the same welder and generally run it with disposables.

ok. i will try that but weather has given up so have to be when the sun is out again.
