Smoke tester what oil do I need?

New ebay smoke machine, go to use it and there is no oil!
Manual suggests mineral oil, but what kind of mineral oil?
Google as usual is like peeing into the wind.

I used Castrol R when I was racing. If I couldn't pass someone if they were running with R at least that was some consolation.
