Don't laugh but cheap toothpaste does a brilliant job. Just a dab on a cloth goes a long way and will get rid of smears inside and out

Yes, the old fashioned way was a mixture of meths & whiting (used on old plimsolls) but toothpaste would be a modern alternative.

I use washing up liquid and a shammy

When it's dried buff any soap marks off with a microfiber cloth

Vinegar applied using scrunched up newspaper.

Sainsbury's do glass cleaner with vinegar in it. Works well, leaves no smell after. Good for cleaning wiper blades too.

Any glass cleaner will do but the secret is a clean, dry microfiber cloth and a good buffing wrist action
