    Hello everyone,

Im just looking for some advice, I have been offered to buy a Smart & Brown 1024 VSL in very good conditionand the question I have is my garage only has domestic electricity so is it possible for me to run a converter to run the Lathe as I would really like to get it, any particular model converter i can get to do this?
I'll be honest I'm not that well up on what's needed to convert 3 phase to 230v domestic power and this may be a stupid question but is there a converter that will plug into a three pin plug socket that will run the lathe, The motor on the lathe is 2.25 kw (3hp). Any help would be great appreciated

The smart and brown yahoo group is a good reference for your lathe too and im sure people have detailed there conversions to domestic supplies there too.
