Small things that save time.

Very basic one, but putting little coloured key caps on those keys that look the same, eg Yale ones, has saved such a lot of time and faff on the doorstep. They cost pennies too.

A quick nick with a file to leave a notch in the key has the same effect and works in the dark and free. Before any smart alec replies the notch is put in the round bit you hold NOT the important bit.

Having more than one angle grinder and drills for a task means less time swapping blades / bits.

er I now have 5 cordless and a similar number of (unused) corded ones, oh and 2 still in th box "just in case" corded ones,
cordless drills? er 5,
even the sabre saw has 2 identical friends and a mains one,
2 cordless ugg dugga and an air one,

Even better, fit a remote switch on the plug. We have a remote that came from Maplins, 50p in their bargain bucket. We use it in the campervan, switch the kettle on in bed & stay there in the warm until it boils. It’s only a small van, I could almost reach the kettle …. But sheer laziness, bliss

They're pilot drills. You want a clearance hole in the part the screw is passing through.

For the rolls of cheap self adhesive masking paper I have some dispenser thingy off ali express with a blade cutter built on that you just slice off the paper to length without having to hunt down a razor blade or try to tear it clean with your nails or something.
For elephants bog rolls, the dispensers that have a serrated edge that you can rip off one handed. I think I have 6 up now, never too far from a giant paper towel roll.
