small storage shed

sick of tripping over various garden implements ..i made a small storage shed no plans or anything..not very good with wood...but starting to see its appeal..! took me about a week(mainly evenings)also made a bench for my other shed,total cost about a ton ..hopefully better than b&spew rubbish...

OSB is not going to last very long, unless you weatherproof it - I suggest, at the very least, some old engine oil - bitumous paint would be better.

yeah..still to finish cladding the sides and back! then butinox (once i save up!)..mind you ive plenty old engine oil...

Looks tidy. I built my first workshop in a similar way. OSB with a couple of coats of fence paint lasted about 3 yrs, rotted along the bottom and edges first. Replaced with proper plywood I got off site which lasted a lot longer.

plywood rots from the edges - if you seal them, the sheets last for years. OSB rots and delaminates all over, so you have to seal the entire sheet.

looks good but how much snow do you get up there
you may want to rethink your roof supports as a heavy snow may bring the roof down

Nice job like the edging round the bench top, gives it the professional look.

I built a small shed for the generator at the stables, added complication was it has to be "flat packed" to transport on a roofrack for assembly on site

mines great after a clean up must keep it like this i say to myself.
im sure a bomb goes off in there when i walk out of there after doing a job. lol
