Small Steel Angle - 1.5 or 2mm thick

Hi guys, I've been trawling the web for some time now trying to find a UK supplier for thin section and size m/s angle.
Looking for 1.5 or 2mm 13x13mm , 15x15mm , 16x16mm or anything similar.
All of the usual online steel suppliers only go to 3mm or the section is larger overall starting at ~25x25mm
Anyone know of a UK supplier for this sort of light material?

Dare I say b&q sell small sections. About 3' long. If you're only after 1 or 2 might be ok? Very expensive but probably not more so than paying delivery from elsewhere.

Yep good call on B&Q but as you say DIY prices and I need to produce batches of 0.4m X 100 pcs.

JayDee With that thickness you are looking not so much for Angle Iron (which most of your searches will chuck up but try looking up "edging" As might be used on say office furneture desks ect. Not sure what sort of finish you are looking for but they maybe painted/powder coated. Any you find in that thickness will be very delecate in long lengths. Think I have seen somthing like that used to protect boxes when they use the steel strapping bands?

B&Q stuff is thae same as their welding rods... no quality controll far eastern rubbish give your local steel merchants a call !

Just visit your local steel supplier and ask for strips then bend them on a bench folder.

I would go go for local engineering company, rather than steel supplier, simple job for a guillotine and brake press
