Google them the pro detailers love them, i dont own one but had use of one at a previous job it was a brilliant bit of kit and he wasn't the most caring towards toold

Used to know someone quite high up at Kaercher UK. I was informed that the “domestic” range have a life of approximately 50 hours run time, enough to last the average user 2-3 years.
The commercial range are a much higher quality and will last a few thousand hours.
It’s the old, “you pays Your money and makes your choose” scenario.
My current Kaercher HDS 6/12C probably does 3-400 hours per year owned from new since 2014, would recommend one if you need a hot/cold machine with chemical input.

Have similar machine at my dads. This one has lasted years. But it’s not burning right at the minute needs the guy out. Crappy red clogs the nozzles up I think.

Yes, Had that happen, but to be fair that will happen to any machine using suspect quality fuel.

Where I used to work the cowboy ran his on heating oil same as his vans

The marcher would start but if you let go of the trigger just once it would be a sod to get going again

I would have said this was true of there older commercial machines. There newer commercial machines seem the have a lot more plastic parts that fail regularly with temperamental electronics

I got this one. A lot of people on detailing world have then. I got a 10m hose with mine. The difference in their hose and a cheap hose is night and day twisting and messing about on you.
Mine was £140 and that was quick fit couplings and swivel at lance etc.
Showed my friends and they bought one too. When something goes wrong he can supply the parts.
They are out of stock at the minute but if you email them he will soon tell you when back in stock.

Comet and kranzle are brilliant makes but unless its getting a lot of use its over the top.

i bought a nilfisk from eurocarparts for about 120 quid a couple of months ago.
i've probably used it for 8 or 10 hours cleaning driveways, patios, wheelie bins, cars, and trailers.
i'm very happy with it.

The model I have is a Kb1010B

I’ve just had it apart but cannot see where it’s leaking from. Will have to try it under pressure tomorrow.

The cylinder heads on some of the karchers can split along a mould join line which is hard to see as the plastic returns to original shape rather than stay in the deformed state

A lot of the karcher pumps crack in this position
