small job for a CAD CAM

OK fokes i need a small job doing for some beer tokens. The farmer where i have my workshop would like his post code on a couple of pieces of machinery.

Rather than me pigeon poo all over the thing i was thinking a piece of plate with the post code cut out of it. Doesn't need to be big 50x100mm would be fine.

If anyone with the required kit is interested please send me a PM.

I can auto cad it but i no longer have the use of a cnc machine.

The trouble with that MK, is the plate can be removed....

Welding it on is a good choice, even if its ground flush, you could still find it with an acid etch test if you knew the location it should be.

problem i have is its heavily painted and would have to be on a vertical surface and my vertical welding is pants

taking what hitch has said on board change of plan. instead of the letters cut out of the plate i would like the letters cutting and i will weld these letters on

Get yer hands on number and letter teeps/teaps grind of paint, stamp up, then repaint...........job done;

Have you got a die grinder? use a round nose burr to engrave it

I have an homebuilt CNC Plasma that can cut upto 1/2" thick material
Also have 2D & 3D CAD and you can have the letters cut out in any font you like
