Small Drill Bits. Where To Buy

I need to get some more small drill bits which I use for drilling holes in stainless bolts. The size I am after is 0.60mm-ish and because they are being used to drill stainless bolts they wear very quickly. They are too small to sharpen.

Any ideas where I can get some Dormer A100 series or similar for a sensible price, in boxes of 10. By a sensible price I mean £1 or so per bit, or a more suitable bit at a good price I know these aren't ideal for stainless but they are all I've been able to find generally.

I use these carbide drills for stainless or cast good for drilling out rusted bolts, I guess at that size they would be in a bench drill as I wouldn't like to think I was drilling free hand with anything that thin? I think the smallest size here is 1mm.

yeh tracy tools is good, can get dormers local up here at good prices but they dont sell online

RS Components do Dormer drill bits for just over your £1 a bit mark - 0.6mm is £1.84. A box of 250 works out at £1.60 each. They do down to 0.25mm if you need it (though they're £3.34).

Worth a look if you know anyone ordering components or similar from them to tack a few onto their order to save on postage etc.

The carbide ones are just too brittle and snap. Tracy tools have some HSS in stock for 72p each but can't tell me what if any brand they are so could be mint or could be cheese, may have to risk it though. RS will no doubt be charging vat and postage too so a bit too much.

generaly tracy tools drills are good quality even if theres no make on them

Browsing the web I found Richontools.com Hong Kong China 0.6 mm drills micro hss m35 5percent cobalt , suitable for stainless 10 pieces £2-31, World wide delivery including Air Mail delivered in 4/5 days.
I have'nt used them but Guys on here say they get on better with China than U.S.A.

Try drill service horley.
Tell them what they are for, I think I buy heavy duty cotter pin drills. I tell them what I want to drill and they produce something other than a normal jobber drill most of the time. The size I bought were about 50p a time, last time I bought them that is.
