Folks.
OH has asked me if I can remove the pins from the back of some old brooches/pin badges that she wants to do something "crafty" with, and as they vary in size down to about the size of a 5p piece, they're a mite awkward.
The pins themselves are relatively easy to get off, but cleaning up what's left to get a flat face is the problem. A normal 4.5 inch angle grinder is way too big for this kind of work so I was wondering if such things as micro angle grinders exist? I've tried filing the old stubs down, but it's fairly delicate work and I don't want to mess up the rest of the badge.
