Small air filter required

Any suggestions as where I can source a replacement for the wiremesh, in the sunbeam carb.



OD 4"
ID 2"
D 1.5"

If I can get one less than 4" dia (95mm) then I can reuse the mesh cover

should be loads on flea bay ,,, pancake filters
if you have the lid you can buy the foam ,, but i like a second layer of mesh on the inside of the foam , to make a sandwich , ive seen the foam break up before today.

MGA uses something very similar, I fitted conventional filters inside my MGA housings in 1974, still in there, must check them some day!!

Have you thought about making one from foam?

Not sure what they call them now but we always referred to them as a pancake filter. I am sure you could modify the guts of one to fit the bike.
