Slip rolls

Hi guys.
Do any of you guys recognise the manufacturer of these slip rolls. There is no name on them. I have googled fj Edwards. Keetona. And a host of others. But so far nothing.

No idea on the make, looks like a nice solid bit of kit. Looks like your going to need that bigger workshop.

Could be an Edwards its the same shape, but I seem to remember that they had the name cast on the endframes, does it matter what make, there's nothing to them to need any info on.
Its missing the handle which would have been a nice revolving wooden thing about a foot long, shaped like a large file handle, they usually get broken off and replaced with a lump of bar or tube welded in.
It wont work too well on those castors, if you need it to be mobile then I would make a rigid frame for it then mount it on some locking wheels or even better some screw down feet to keep it still, well worth restoring and a very useful tool.

I was just curious about the manufacturer. I put the casters on just to get it round the back of my place..as it's way to heavy to carry even with a couple of chaps.. am well happy with them. Looking forward to the refurbishing. Yes handle missing but I will make something that looks good and not to obvious

They look victorian. Solid looking and an extremely useful bit of kit.

After a lot of faffing about I managed to set the rolls up.. had to adjust the bars that connects the two side up as it was not square..got a couple of sized nuts but will sort that...then I tried rolling a bit of scrap..they take some getting used to for sure.
