I am assuming that when making brake pipes, that the only concern regarding size-(imperial or metric) is relevant to the ends. That is, you either have metric (threaded) ends or you have UNF (threaded ends). The pipe for example is typically 3/16. I do not understand why flaring of pipes is sometimes referred to as either metric or imperial flaring. On a post on the site here (see bottom of page on this link)
http://forums.lr4x4.com/index.php?showtopic=10033 the guy states that there is a difference between metric & imperial flares.
Can someone who knows about this FOR SURE please confirm either way. If there is indeed a difference between metric & imp flares, what is it exactly? As rtbcomp quite rightly confirmed, I have already bought crap once. I want to learn from my mistakes.
As usual-thank you for your input.
