Yep tired that, Just to point out i have a grasp of how to operate a screw! Can anyone think of a mechanical issue IE spring and washer issue! Using the parts provided by sip. Has anyone had to make mods to this welder because of this issue!
Just make it clear the spool feed is fine until the tention of the spring fails due to the tension screw unwidning because the spring not slipping! can anyone recomend a mod for this!
The wire needs to feed from the bottom of the reel (i.e. the reel needs to rotate clockwise). If it feeds from the top, the reel will rotate anti-clockwise and unwind the tension screw.
