Hi all,
I'm new on this site so hello to everyone!
I am looking for a mig welder to do some general fabrication work around the farm, mostly round silage bale lifters and any general repair work to trailers and other farm equipment etc.
I currently have a Clarke 240 turbo arc welder but wish to go the mig route for speediness and no chipping of flux required etc.
I also work in a large engineering firm making quarry equipment and after speaking to some of the welding staff they have advised me that a SIP SUPER IDEAL 240 is the welder that i should go for, in terms of price and quality.
Does any one have experience off this welder and could someone tell me any potential bad points? (as all i have heard is good points that are potentially rose tinted)
