just came across this little unit in my dads shed. used to be my grandfathers apparently. its very rusty but does have a 400 amp (overkill) twist grip rod holder that I suspect was chosen over the 200amp as it matched the colour of the welder lol, also has a fairly large earth clamp.
it has 3 settings on the front, 65, 75 and 85 amp, no fan and a shockingly poor duty cycle. tried a 2.0mm rod on all settings and it lasted 15 seconds on its longest run, took over half an hour to cool down and then cut out after another 8 seconds of welding. very unstable arc on all settings too, kept it as tight as I could but still struggled to stay lit.
it has been burnt out before, my father was the man who did it, one of the secondary winding wires had melted, I have bodged it with a crimp just to test it but will be restoring it properly soon. probably after xmas.
