hi all
ive just done a test on the wirefeed motor and its giving me 20.1metre`s per min, is this right???

hope someone can point me in the right direction

That's high. There's a guide to rough initial wire speed settings on the calculator page: http://www.mig-welding.co.uk/calculator.htm Closer to 3m/min for bodywork.

Does the speed not change with the wire speed knob?

it was only a test!!
it on full wack,,max speed on wirespeed control knob
i thought my wirefeed motor was knak`ard!!as it was intermitent weld yesterday,,,could not get bacon sizzle`
it has new mig wire and new wire liner(steel)

i ve managed to sort out the pulsing,,,one of the crimp had come lose!!!D`OH,,crimp ti up and works well
but what ive notice aswel,,on the bottom wire feed rollers is running like and egg shape,,,it pushes the wire up slightly as it goes round,,has anyone else had this on there machine
where can you get them from???
