Where I build boats I have 3 phase and am quite happy with my 350amp set, although I'm on the lookout for one with separate wire feed. My 350 amp set cost £57 on ebay
What I'm after is something 250 amps, 240 volt, that takes 15kg wire and that I can pick up on my own put in boot of car and do any onsite work I have. I think this means inverter based mig. What I really wanted to know is does anyone have experiance with the new sip ideal 301 or maybe the warrior 250. I like the sip as its a stick welder too
