A 'new to me' broken old MIG to fix, from 1984. The owner used it for light industrial work some time back and has now retired.
Fault was described as 'fuse blows when switched on', so a few things to check then.
First impressions - it's very large for the low output, weighs 70 Kg! (sorry about the 90 degree error in the first shot...)
First thing is a good clean out, as it's filthy inside.
Unusually, it came with two user manuals, both so clean they must have been stored away in a drawer. Useful content too, unlike some modern ones.
Anyone seen a regulator set up like this before?
