Seen lots of folk on here do this type of modification. My roller was bending terribly so something had to be done.

For such a simple bit of bracketry this really does help loads.

hi what does this do? help with the wire feed? because mine is playing up

It stops the top roller 'kicking out' allowing the wire to slip out of the grove on the bottom feed roller. A lot of users report improved wire feed but you will also need to keep your torch well serviced...replacing the wire lining etc...which is the main cause of feed trouble (together with rusty wire). Replacing the standard plastic lining to a steel one gives the most marked improvement
