Hopefully this isn't too dumb a question to get me laughed off the board for a first post, but here goes ....
I dug my old SIP welder out of the garage (Topmig 150 T) and decided to replace the Eurotorch conversion as I'd knackered the old one a good while ago.
I bought a kit and a gas solenoid and it was pretty straightforwards to fit. They're now all connected up and ready to roll, however, the old torch had one wire coming out of it and the new Eurotorch has two! The instructions are clear about the first as in I connect it up to the original single wire. For the other it says:
' loop the other new wire to the heavy power cable, clamp the heavy power cable in the machine to the brass tail.'
To me, that suggests what I've crudely drawn in the picture. Am I right, or am I about to be burnt to a crisp?
