Sip auto plus 211 electrical supply

A friend of mine has bought a sip autoplus 211, against my advice for him to buy a portamig.

Any way he's asked me to install an electric supply, when I have read the instructions it requires a 41a supply so what is the best way to go about this.

Can you get a blue plug bigger than 32a?

You can get a 63a - but i'd stick to the 32a with a 'C' rated 32a MCB.

He was to impatient to wait and wanted to try it so I put a 3 pin plug on with a 13a fuse and it ran on full power fine for a few practice welds with 0.6 wire.

Is it likely the manufacturer has massively overrated the input current?

I was quite surprised with the weld quality, it's actually quite good, but the chassis and wheels are terrible, very flimsy after it's got a big gas cylinder on the back I can't seek it lasting long before it needs dropping on a trolly.

I think that will be the best solution, I will advise him tomorrow
