a friend brought me a cheap low-end welder in for repair.
It turns out one of his problems is the wrong wire feed roller.
I have problems finding a replacement for this.
It appears the drive is as shown on https://www.bobthewelder.com.au (pictures below). I have copied the pictures rather than the links because links tend to disappear or change. If somebody objects I will remove the pictures.
They list it as a "DIY" repair unit. Those units are listed on the ´bay as LRS 385S drives (which is the motor name) and appear with both square bore rollers (listed by bob as "SIP" replacement and notched round bores (as shown on the complete unit).
The drive I have here is of the latter sort, and I cannot find any source for spares. The square ones are available.
Does anybody know a source for the notched round bore rollers? Their dimensions are ID 7mm x OD 25mm x DEPTH 7mm.
The last possibility is to get a new drive that has a square shaft.
