My sip 130 has busted on me, about half a dozen welds short of finishing my trailer.
I left the welder running for a while and when I came back to it it wouldnt weld anymore. The fan runs but nothing else.
I have had a poke about on it and it looks like there's no 12v coming out of the little transformer on the pcb. 240 in but nothing out.
So either the tranformer has had it or I have a short somewhere.
I have done a eurtorch mod on it and checked continuity through the switch. The gas solenoid fires up and the transformer buzzes if I short the output from the relay.
Do these transformers often go? Anyone know where i can get another?
Or is there something else I should check first?
