SIP 100 GAS or GASLESS ??? PHOTOS!!!

Hi! I have a little problem.. Yesterday I've bought used SIP 100, I wanna use it occasionally, generally for welding exhaust and bodywork in my car. I saw in internet new SIP 100 with GASLESS description, but mine is older model, and I've found gas valve and pipe in it (?). If this is gas valve, how can I connect bottle to it? (I cannot see any screw.. inner or outer). Another thing is settings.. cause I'm totally new with welding. What settings I should choose for exhaust welding? Does anyone have manual to this model? I know there's SIP 130 manual on this site, but it's a little bit different. What about this LOW/HIGH and MIN/MED/MAX, does LOW+MAX is smaller amp than HIGH+MIN? And the last thing.. How can I check if the wire already installed is for gas or gasless welding? I heard there's a colour difference, but I saw different colours of gasless wire on ebay, so it's not so simple, is it? Help me please, because I'm a little confused about all of this..

The wire you have in that machine is normal solid wire for use with gas, gasless stuff tends to be more of a silver colour without the copper coating. You should be able to hook a gas cylinder up to that machine easily enough, you just need to buy a connection kit and regulator. Look up weldequip in the members list and send him a PM with your requirements and he'll sort you out with a regulator and hose kit.

Great! I knew it! This pipe was kind of blessing for me when I saw it first time Thanks for advice and for greetings! Maybe someone can answer about this settings as well? I know I have to try it, but don't even know what to start with.. Ha, I tried today do some welding, when I was quite sure it's gasless wire.. hmm.. no, that didn't work Now I know why.. hehe

Exhausts are pretty thin so you'll need a pretty low setting, I'm not sure what order the switches go in on those machines but have a look in the manual section for a similar machine and the settings should be the same.
Don't forget that most exhausts are coated with aluminium so grind that off before you weld or you won't get very good results.

I've checked it, and there's two levels LOW and HIGH and fine adjustment MIN/MED/MAX, so LOW+MAX < HIGH+MIN Thanks for help!
