Hi all,
After some advice, I have an MGF that I'm restoring, unfortunately the rear of both sills have just crumpled in my hands....
The welding bit isn't the issue (ha) but as there is no repair panels available for the MGF (I believe the tooling ended up in China...) I need to get some sheet steel and form the relevant bits to repair. I want to cut out the rotten bits and weld up to existing good metal - not just whack a patch on.
Anyway, any suggestions on how I form a piece of 1mm sheet, I've never made a repair panel before!
Regards,
Andy
