As some of you know, i do cnc engraving - control panels, rather than beer tankards.
The setup cost on a cnc machine is minimal, however, the per-unit (marginal) cost does not scale in the same way as print.
In addition to this, some jobs just cant be done by the process, without compromise.
In light of that, ive been doing a printing course.

Its the soft top version of our other landrover -
Why is this relevant here?
A couple of people have asked about panel restoration for machinery, and the print process will make that a whole load simpler. Instead of re-making the panel from scratch, it should be possible to scan the original, re-work it in software, re-spray it, and then re-print.
It may still not be viable (cost wise) very often but at least it will be possible.
