In all honestly probably a little while on the first one. Until I get my sequences in order. Remember I'm just a beginner with taking metal off. I've spent most of my life putting it on so this is alien to me still. I could make those though in a sensible time for a beginner I'm sure.

I know just how new to you all this is, though you're doing very, very well. Have you got the cube in a cube in a cube done yet btw...?
Just wondering how long it'd actually take, that's all. I'm guessing there's some time in setting up for turning vs milling?

Well the set up time is minimal for the slide as you can fit it and clock it in minutes.
I have a good selection of nice straight shank milling tools that I just nip in the 3 jaw and use the scales on the handles to take my cut measurements.
I would say that little bracket I did took me over an hour to do but if I had a few to do I could bring that down quite a bit through sequence.
