When I was doing Lorry Loader cranes, skips and hook loaders I was getting a new set of side cutters and crimping pliers every 10 t 12 weeks.the slightest nick in my snips and i give em away and use new .the amount i cut i havent the time to fanny about
We were doing that much work.

Used to have a pair of pipe wrench a bit bigger than those, great for removing citroen suspension spheres.

Agreed. Personally i prefer NWS out of the two, for side cutters. Quite cheap too.
Had the same experience. My cheap Stanleys are better, was very disappointing.
They're nice to have but they're pretty big and unwieldy. Good if you have a specific use. I bought mine just out of want but they don't get used much. Do make pushing caliper pistons back pretty easy though!
