I'm knocking up a timber porch with a lean to roof, open porch not closed.
Nothing fancy but I don't want it looking modern/upvc ect
Was going to do cedar shingles but that ends up quite expensive.
Some nice looking siberian larch boards popped up on marketplace so I grabbed them,
They're feather edge 25mm>13mm 8 inch wide,
Will larch do the job on a roof? I've got enough here to overlap them as much as I need, what would be best?
Any treatment needed .. I really like the silvery grey it goes.
Do you have to use stainless nails like oak or will galvanised suffice?
