Sadly it doesn't work like that. If I move this one out of the garage, I'd probably shove another one in there which is blocking up the hallway. With any luck that one will get re-framed and sold pretty damned quickly. It was a buy to sell rather than a keeper though having a Mk.1 and a MK.2 is compelling...

My mrs rides a blue 600 hornet like has been posted already, lovely bike to ride and can be quite nippy if you give it some.
I currently have a 2006 zx6r, it used to look like this:

until an unplanned excursion into the kitty litter at rockingham national in april left the bike in bits and me in hospital with a fractured pelvis and pneumonia.
Now the bike looks like this after winning some Chinese fairings on ebay for £100, still prefer the stealth look.

1050 SE Speed triple off to Shetland on this next week. I rode it last yr, saying it was the only time as it took me a month striping and cleaning it. It's a new bike, I'd like to keep it that way. Besides I have '95 Africa Twin xRV 750, for touring on, and while in top mech condition, it looks a pile, but just munches miles, only downer is35mpg, the speedy did it at 50+.

It's got a rack on the back now to take what you see on the AT. I was supposed to be going on that, but I've been too busy to rebuild it.

And now for something boring. BWP, aka big white pig, xl600 paris dakar. And it is bloody boring. Sole saving grace I'm not the slightest bit tempted to want to modify it.

Random 750 turbo projects. I keep meaning to finish this.

I've got this one knocking round too, I must be 85% done and just lost momentum on the build and stopped one day to build something else, but I want to get back to it this year as it'll only take me a month or two to finish and I pretty much have all the stuff already. I love 750 turbo's, theyre like grown up two strokes. Especially with a 810 kit and a proper sized turbo on them.

Me gs750, sat like this for 7 years unfinished though in a earlier version it was used quite a lot by myself in hooligan mode

Found a pic of mk1 as it goes. Remember this a stunt performed by my body double who is a trained professional in closed controlled conditions, dont try this at home kids. And if you do, get a decent haircut, this went out in the 90's.

Old trusty sp400, I've owned this for 25 years now and when I got it, it was the only thing I could afford the fuel for as its so economical. I've been escorted out of monaco on it perhaps for being exuberant with the throttle and suffering lightening of the front end in the tunnels under the princes palace, fell off it in Nice, been pulled in cheshire and leaked lots of oil in sussex + suffolk. I still take it out for a thump round in the snow although it has a leak from damage to the bottom of the cases I've been meaning to fix for about 6 years now. I'll take it down and tig it when I think I'm not going to turn it into a unfinished project while other stuff gets in the way.

Mk1 hedgefinder. My posh 1000 exup (Bimota yb8e). It has passed the extensive crash testing programme though.

Captain wobbly. I haven't taken any new pics of this for a few years but its moved on since. Its 1170 now & runs megasquirt efi and a mallory mag just to be oddball. I like this because it takes some manhandling round because its a old fatty but its a bit of a animal too.

Keep getting distracted by this. If it wasnt for this, I might have finished the turbo's by now.

Another one more month and it'll be done. I need to get the queue down a bit.

Rideable right now? the sp400, bwp, bimota and the gpz11. Need more lives and less work. I dun like very modern stuff much, sorry but it seems soul-less.

The xt is a 600 now with one of the vg racing big bore cylinders, I was going to stroke it too but that'll never happen so I'm going to limit further motor tinkering to doing the stud mods to the top end to tie it to the crankcase better like the classic racing peeps do to stop the motor lifting the head and splitting the top of the barrel.
You can use roller rockers from a porche without major mods I think it is, to stop camshaft scuffing too.

Remember when you could pick one of these up for next to nothing ? They are going for daft money now. An old boy i knew who was in the army here in the 1960's, told me he remembered when the m20's were removed from service, a dumper lorry with a magnet went along picking them up and dropping them in the back. They were then whisked off to the irish steel furnaces down in Cork.

Aye, my first road bike, I remember the big end giving up after a long run at full throttle, replaced with an Alpha roller bearing conversion.

Speedtwin paintwork was good

Paint was done a long time ago by East Coast Choppers in Forfar on the Speed twin. You would probably like the paintwork on my old Ariel:
