If anyone is interested this has just popped up on Facebook in Norwich. Looks like a 112 or 114 to me, hell of a lot of vice for £15!

In Oz we have Dawn; still made here.
This one is quite old (they are not as chunky these days imo). Had to fix it up a bit.. respray in original colour (someone had painted it Irwin/Record blue).

An Update, a few hours work was needed, after today, dead end work. @Parm Pun intended.

I have finished, well a bit of touching up of the blue paint is needed.

So I was home at a sensible time, after leaving at a stilly time.

So. I had fun.



All but finished.

Just need to get 3 Brass C/sunk Slot headed screws and we are done.
They will be found in the morning.

The jaws are recycled from a Oak drawer front, cut to fit and steeped in oil.
The "Fixed jaw" is fixed from the working face, C/sunked and filled holes and secured with 3/8UNC C/sunk screws. At present Allan key heads. But as they are hidden the fact they are not slotted does not matter.

No paint runs, lots of oil runs, but then it is steeped in Linseed oil.
