what is it with oil cans that they allways leak? is it some form of hydroscopic action or just to expell its contents so next time you go to use it the darn things emty again ,I find it weird thats for sure

A modern one and an older one.

Pulled the older one out of the scrap yard, works well but leaks like a Russian submarine.

Best one I had was a Washing up bottle with a bit of rubber tube on it.
