I have noticed traffic is a bit quieter around here as well glad to hear the business is doing good
it's been a long time since I've been in killorgan last time was the puck fair and I could tell you a few stories about that

traffic was back to normal today, i suppose thats good. was looking at your pictures, is that the front of a 6000 or 7000 series deere. the projects you have done look interesting, i love to fire into a bit of heavy steel myself. where are you, i could see a north tipp reg i think.

its a 6200 JD and North Tipp is spot on just off the N7 on the Dublin side of Nenagh and I do like to get into some heavy steel myself I'm fixing bale handler at the moment put a couple of hours into it this evening mostly just cutting it up the post I'll post a few pic when it's done

nope, was completly sober i can rememeber seeing signs for N7 tires and signs saying N7 Dublin, then my workmate woke up and says "where the f**k are we" to which i respond "is this not the way we came"

hi, i know the N7 only to well, yeah, i rather the hand held, i use the auto just with the tig really or if i'm using a very heavy gun, i find the hand held is a lot faster to work with, i am making some new golf trolleys this week, i will post a few pictures, i have a few special tools which i made which i set up on the fly and power presses, had a colchester lathe and bridgeport mill but sold them a couple of years ago, i think i time is coming soon though to pick up something nice though in that line. james moore is a artist guy i know, i did a bit of metal work for him and he did a few drawings of me in my shop.

I got this at a government surplus sale last year for £600 + vat chum!
Had just been fitted with a new induction brake, came from a borstal in Plymouth. Thought there was a problem with the brake so phoned the company that fitted it and they were astonished at what I paid they charged more or less that for the brake.

looks nice, like a colchester (its not the infamous chinese copy is it!!) , had master 2500 for years, was a top machine, could cut it at an industrial level no problem. i want a machine now though thats top notch and when i do it will be the COLCHESTER MASTER VS3250 LATHE. when i get her in and beded want it to be the last lathe i got to move in a long time. have seen the same model for a bit cheaper of course i'll have to see them in action before i'd buy

hi scarcrow, i used to have a lathe, mill, press brake, guillotine and powder coating set up but flogged them and just kept my favourite stuff . get nearly all my sheet work lazer cut now by a german guy (aqua design) based down in killorgan (again). best move i made save a lot of money. planning on setting up shop in south east england and giving it a couple of years, if that dont work out i may then move into irish midlands as i'm fed up in dublin, so you never know. might even get myself a 7810 with front linkage and buzz about picking up a bit of work here and there... a well, youn gotta have your dreams!
