Try putting 141 in front of his number when you dial, it with-holds your number and stops it showing up on caller display units.

Cheers, Nomad. I wasn't aware of that one. My solicitor has finally negotiated for me to collect the car plus the initial outlay from me and then it all goes to court for the "consequential losses". Fingers crossed for me on Thursday!
Trading standards have been a bit of a wet f4rt throughout so I've given up even bothering to phone them.
As for the solicitor, I discovered that my home insurance included a section that gave me legal cover and a solicitor for the £50 excess. Worth bearing in mind.
One thing that helped was recording on a spycamera when I went there and he said things that he later denied.

Yes. Fantastic video and audio quality. Works from 5cm to infinity. You can stick them under your wheel arch to film suspension movement etc. I stuffed it inside an air filter to film the throttle damper piston.

In order....
The new crowd do VW campers for a living and have blasted all of them. They had several in there at the time of my visit and were busy, so that was a good sign.
The camera I bought was from a UK vendor and it arrived 4 days later for about £14 all in. I used a 512Mb card out of an old cameraphone but then bought an 8GB card for it to record 2 hours. It will record 1/2 hour max per press of the button.
He has been using the excuse of poor cash-flow but that doesn't make any sense and is not in the least bit convincing.
His face? Grumpy.
I can't name him for legal reasons, in that it might open this website to trouble, but I guess it is alright to add this link? Mods?

Rob, fantastic news!! Please post this on both Morris Minor forums and get us some pics- even if the car has surface rust now.
I saw this car and met Carlo, a previous owner when the car was on the road about four years ago and it was a very solid (if tatty) and sweet running car.
BTW, I've also ordered one of those cameras! Too much of a gadget bargain not to ;-) What type of memory card doe they take?

CJ. The card is one about the size of the nail on your little finger. You'll need an adaptor to stick it in the slot on your computer or maybe just the download cable enclosed. Called a Micro SD card.

Glad you got the car back.
They have a forum on Money Saving Expert where you can name and shame rogue companies. As long as what you say is the truth you are well within your rights to vent. Might still be worth asking where you should go from here to get your money back.
Someone I know led the charge on MSE against that Lapland New Forest crowd a few years back and got them closed down.
