Hi, long time (10 years) lurker here.
I'm rebuilding my LR Defender atm, and left roughly 60 shot blasted parts at the galvanisers a few days ago. They have told us now that it may not be until after Christmas before they can process (dip) my items. Being Defender parts, including the bulkhead, as you'd know these are generally all 1-2mm thick, sitting outside on a pallet in the UK weather.
Obviously the galvanisers will acid dip the parts to remove rust, but I'm wondering if the thin steel is going to get a battering between now and whenever they get galvanised and end up in worse condition? Or should I just not worry about it? Thanks
