Short washing machine inlet hose

Maybe my Google fu is off, but I can’t find anything less than 1.5m. I want 500mm. Any reason I shouldn’t use a braided tap connector? If so, is there such a thing as a braided tap connector with a 3/4 elbow at one end?

I did come across those but they’ve got a male at one end and no elbow. I just want a shorter hose to keep it tidy as for once it won’t be stuffed behind a kitchen unit. TBH I’m just being a fussy git.

I had to extend the hose on the new washing machine the other month as it was afoot short with the damn outlet hose from the machine on the opposite side to the previous machine

It’s side on in the garage, 4yr old bad enough with stuff you think he can’t get at, exposed plumbing recipe for disaster. Trying to keep it as inconspicuous as possible.

braided flexi hose wont have any probs......just make sure u have just enough wriggle room for when the machine thrashes about with ur duvet in it....
