Hi everybody,
After some deliberation on buying a cheap and cheerful MIG to something more elaborate, I have decided to purchase an Esab Rebel Series 215ic Multi Process Welder. It's way more than I had ever envisaged buying but it seems the muts nuts and will likely be the only welder I ever need to buy as a hobbyist/DIYer.
My question now is what do I need to buy along with it to hit the ground running. I am firm believer that the primary tool will only get you 80% of the with the remaining 20% being the accessories.
Currently my list is as follows:
* Welding hammer
* Welding pliers
* Welding jacket
* Welding magnets
* Welding mask - automatic
* Clamps - What type? C / Vise Grips?
* Welding brush
* Tip cleaner
* Welding gloves
* Soapstone
* Anti spatter
* Profiler
* Fire extinguisher - What medium for workshop? CO2?
* Would I need a blanket?
