Shogun sport advice

I've got the funds now and I want a Shogun Sport

£4K (some flexibility, don't really want to go over)

So looking 2005/6

Anything to look out for? Anything to avoid?

Will be only the second diesel car I've ever owned

I would say rot it the biggest issue with anything old and Japanese, especially rear crossmember, rear inner wheel arches etc.

On something 10-12 year old it shouldn't be too mutch of a problem but still best to have a good look.
