I’ve a friend needing to sell this but needs some more information. It was her grandads. Some parts are missing I believe. It may be of use to someone on here?!

The best people to ask about that are people from around there?
Is it a clicker press they use to chop the leather out with steel rule dies?

Ive seen one similar to that at the Doctor Martin factory in Woolaston. A few years ago it was in daily use. As @graffian points out it was being used to stamp out leather with metal dies

I never knew the factory was there at the time.
But if you wanted cheap docs the pub in Woolaston was the place to go.

It’s in a workshop in Raunds.
She is going to weigh it in if no takers soon which is a shame hence why I’m trying to get someone interested.

in 2013 this 91 was still doing 5 days a week

it might be worth contacting a shoe museum to see if there interested

lovely machine and it would be such a shame to scrap it, maybe a museum would be interested BUT....

if it does get scrapped and that flat plate under the round screwy thing is a steel plate then it would make a nice small bench top and I could be interested in that
