shim suppliers

I need a shim for my bsa engine and they are not readily available from the usual bike dealers.

Anyone know where i could get one? Or some from?

Needs to be 1mm thick, 23mm id and 33mm od (obviously its actually some crazy imperial fraction but mm is easier)

any engineering supplies cromwell tools or eblag if there is any under shimstock cheaper

Supplies shim.
They might be able to advise you regarding washers.
Have made shims for all sorts of things LSD, head spacers, packing for bearings the list goes on, you can cut them with quality fine hole cutters onto a supporting surface, best done on a mill or good pillar drill, Gilbows for straight cuts again must be SHARP.
I have 001" 0015" 002" 003" 0044 005" 006 007" 008" 010" 012" 015" in 12"x 6" sheet if any help

Thanks folks - think i am searching for the wrong terminology.

Shim WASHER rather than just shim required.

If you got a piece of 1mm steel use a hole cutter that will leave a 33mm od washer BUT DONT CUT ALL THE WAY THROUGH, then use a 23mm cutter to cut the centre out go back to the 33mm cutter and finish the outer cut using the previously made cut to keep it centred a little cleaning up and you have your shim

Is this for an engine internal? If so have you checked to see if the washer is hard? You also don't specify a material so is it right to assume this is steel? if the above does apply I would think it will need to be made by someone, unlikely it will be off the shelf if you have tried the BSA dealers.

At work our shims come from puff technic or permablock both German and ultra expensive
