Shed roof dripping water

Hi I have a metal shed and the ceiling of the shed drips when it’s freezing outside. The ceiling builds up condensation and ices and melts and it’s going all over my tools etc. is there anyway I can stop this from happening like is there anything I can put on the ceiling to stop it? I do welding inside of the shed so ideally not anything that can catch fire.

Air circulation, or insulate the underside of the roof.

rockwool is probably the quickest fix ,,, depending on how your ceilings made , how accessible it is , and what you have as fastening options ,,

It’s one of these sheds so I’m not sure how I can insulate the ceiling. It has to be fireproof as when I weld I don’t want it catching on fire

rockwool and spray glue to stick it up with would be my thinking , or a few wooden battens and a stapler or a bag of cable ties Id be doing the walls too ,,, and stopping the wind blowing in underneath the wall joints ,, those things are like standing outside in a pair of pjs ,,, sort of cold like yer step mothers breath

If your welding runs the risk of setting the ceiling on fire, I'm not sure if you're doing it right.

Insulate the walls and the roof, line with ply and fit decent ventilation . It’s always good practice to finish welding an hour before finishing work

I had exactly the same,so in 1999,I lined it by screwing OSB to the underside of the purlins,8mm. Cut outs for the roof lights.

Kingspan glued to the inside of the roof would work…or knock it down and build something bigger and better! Size is really important when it comes to sheds!

Rockwool doesn't burn. Spay glue would though.
Rockwool will get sodden though I should think?

once the flash has gone off and the rockwool iss stuck on the glue wont be any worse than what ever is coating the tin ,,, it shouldnt get wet as the condensation will stop and it will stay warm and dry ,,,, if it was battened before the rockwool went up you could plasterboard / dry line it too ,,, but glue on rockwool was the fast fix right now option ...

You need to either, insulate, or keep the shed temp above freezing...I'm opting for the latter while I decided on how I want to insulate...

I have had a small fan heater running for the last few days and after the first night I've had no condensation at all, and it's been well below 0 the last 3 nights.

I will be replacing the fan heater with 2 small greenhouse heaters shortly

Rockwool will take some incredible heat. We once had a chimney fire that burnt through a small steel inspection plate. The 2nd stainless out one was ok though. The rockwool sandwich had melted

Used to pick up rock wool when I drove for Owens...had to have an induction to make sure we didn't try to put a fire out if ever one occured as they said if it got to the point the stuff was burning then all hope was already lost, just walk away and wait for the fire brigade to come and water everything down around it

try a humidifier ,that's what I use in my garage to keep dampness away from my m/bikes.

In random order :

1 decent rubber flooring where you work so the concrete can’t take your body heat away through you feet.

2. Insulate the roof. I got a van load of reclaimed 25mm 2x4 sheets under 50p each from a local reclamation yard - plenty to do my loft, double thickness on the garage roof, my ex’s camper.. then sold the surplus. The difference in the garage temps was vast for under £20 !

3. Chinese diesel heater or (if you can source free timber) a wood stove.
