shed repairs...where does shuttering ply fall against osb

doing some shed repairs and see the merchant has shuttering ply at okay ish prices , whats the score osb vs shuttering ply

what should i pick

My experience is that shuttering ply won't be as flat, it tends to warp, but it's more water resistant.

i was thinking for a shed roof with rubber on top....flat enough to care? or no ? its not like some fine furniture but if im spending id like it reasonbly flat and smart looking

For epdm go with osb3 ... unless advice on this has changed.... where's Brian the @roofman ?

i've got an EDPM roof on OSB3 and its just like the day it was put on 6 years in so far with no problems.

I had ply trailer base and it lasted about 8 months, the OSB Sterling board one has been in 4 years and still good.

Rubber has to go on OSB as it has better grab properties for the adhesive and more stable, Shuttering plywood is perfect for flat roofs as long as its not left uncovered after fitting, plus you must use either screws or 63mm ring shanked nails to hold it down and don't be shy on the fixing numbers as it can still warp and lift normal none ringed nails if it absorbs moisture from the air as in an open carport etc.

I use shuttering ply for everything as it's cheap/free at the end of jobs.
It's not as waterproof as it use to be and can still delaminate but seems to have better point loading than osb.
My shed roof is shuttering ply with rubber over it no problems so far.

OSB 3. Shuttering ply seems to be varying quality, and I find delaminates easily if it gets wet.

as far as I know the cost of ply/osb then covering it....is as expensive as insulated steel roof panels......
they will last 50 years....
