You are right of course, I had in mind the powder one next to my office oil boiler. I have weighed all the CO2 ones and marked up their paper charts, and do very occasionally trot round with a 'fish scale' balance.

whereis water mist in you pic seams to work for every thing or dry power if you not got chance of grease fire much

Went and spent the money last year and bought fire safety stick.
Hopefully never have to use them but would rather have and not need.

They are not approved for use by BAFE.
They have a track record of not doing what they claim.
The residue the leave is a pain to clean up. Worse if it has come into contact with heat.

Not convinced of burn back times on a really hot oil fire either…
As for water mist, Ive seen a few water mist systems tested. And its not exactly a mist, more a spray stopping and restarting.
There's no one fits all….scenarios…..different agents perform differently under the varying conditions due to whats burning.
Current guidance is leave and ring the 3 numbers.

Water mist has a "Misting Nozzle" on the hose, as long as the levers are in use it is a constant discharge.
There is no one extingusiher that does the whole lot.
The P50 claimes it can do it, but it can't. Rumour has it funds, lots of, were used to get it's rating.
The minium I would say in a small workshop (under 200square meters) is 2 x 6lt foams iwth a 13A rating. Plus at least 1 x 2kgco2.
Fire blankets are used to put burning life forms out. No chip pan fires.
Personally I would like to chance using a water mist on an electrical fire!
