Shed base question

As an alternative to creosote, I've used copper-containing wood preservatives here for years, with very good results. This is one of the products that I've used:

More than anything it needs air space or a bit of through flow too allow it to dry out

I used some 50mm(ish) plastic mesh stuff, its the same sort of thing they use to build path/drives with to hold gravel in place.

thats what i used under mine and treated the wood with 5 star wood treatment . its been up 30 years now

Soaking the end grain before assembly would be better than putting it on now.

I've used this stuff before. Probably not it's intended use but seems suitably dirty tar and chemical to do the job now that creosote isn't readily available!

I'll give it three coats and sit it on the tiles I got from round the back of topps tiles. Hopefully it'll last as long as I do...

Would a dpm not be a good idea?

I used strips of that 4” wide damp course plastic stuff under the bottom beams of my shed, where it sits on slabs. Not perfect, but it means it’s not sat permanently in contact with damp concrete.

Shed is now up, base triple coated and sitting on tiles to keep it off the concrete. Noticed that the frame could do with a couple of extra braces in the corners. It's braced side to side but not front to back for some reason. Noticed that when I was up on the roof haha.
Just finished glueing the felt down early this evening but haven't nailed it down yet. Not sure where to nail it. Just along the seams and folded edges or should it have more?
