Hello all,
I hope someone can point me in the right direction...
I'm a novice at welding and I have a Clarke 150en Turbo and I thought I would tackle the welding required on my car, bad idea.... I was blowing holes in it left right and centre... pieces of steel I've practiced on, I seemed ok, so I'm guessing I've setup the welder incorrectly. I tried to find the correct setting but all seemed either do the same or worse. I dont't have a manual for this welder.
Should I use 0.6 or 0.8mm wire on a car?
I have the following switches:
What should I have them set to depending on what wire size I need?
Is 'A' a higher setting than '1'?
Roughly what wire speed should I set it at?
Many Thanks
