Interesting, I thought they'd folded completely. presumably they just don't sell parts anymore
edit..Just had a look and the guy who runs it retired and closed the parts business down in 2020, he now concentrates on the museum / collection.
so for parts you're looking at the usual suspects Paddocks / Craddocks / Blanchards etc etc
If your in the area then inside out 4x4 stock parts. Marginally more expensive but useful if you want something urgently.

The 2a IMO is definitely the right series LR to have - there's something about them that just seems right - the characteristic instruments in the middle of the metal dash so much better than the plastic S3 dash ....the straight cut gears on first gear that make such a racket you think they're worn out 
.....but the gearboxes are much tougher than the S3.....the individual wiper motors behind each windscreen wiper....even the hopelessly inefficient smiths heater sitting near the passenger footwell....the sliding door windows that don't need a winder mechanism. It's called real character ....downside of course was about 14mpg on a petrol engine and 0-60 in infinity on the diesel.
I put an Essex V6 in mine 30 years ago (which was half as thirsty)...but at the time 2a's were worth nothing and no-one cared about originality ....slightly different now

It's a 2a with Toyota Landcruiser 3BT diesel,V8 diffs,5 speed cruiser box,SII transfer case,roll cage etc.

Hi Dave, just checked, it's pressed.
see my earlier reply. The 'girls' sprayed the whole thing, then with a pad of rags, wiped the paint off the raised letters. Then put them in a little oven to bake them. Except at break times, when we used to toast our sandwiches in there!

I helped a friend with a series 2a rebuild a few years ago. I told him he would not keep it long with the petrol engine. It took about a month for him to get a 200Tdi engine.

Do you get free petrol ? We used them on the council towing all kinds of other equipment and struggled to get into double figure MPG a lot of the time.Can't agree about the petrol engine, the 2.25 petrol engine is a brilliant engine it'll run for decades given common sense, and still run like a sewing machine even when it's very worn indeed.
I certainly wouldn't swap mine for a rattly deezil
I don't but I'm only rattling about locally and don't do much mileage, so suits me.
I don't really tow things either, in fact I purposely didn't fit towing electrics to avoid the inevitable annoying requests to lug stuff about for all and sundry

I had a knock on the door one evening and a chap asked if I could use my jeep (that got my back up as it's a Landy) to pull his car out where he had bogged it down on the grass verge up the road, sure I said, I'll pull it out for a tenner, when he said he had no money I bade him good evening and closed the door.

I gave the whole thing a good clean yesterday after removing the peripherals and took a quick look at the selector mechanism.
All looks ok (balls and springs in good order) so I will now be removng, stripping and overhauling it.
Of course I've stumbled at the first hurdle, I need the special socket @OJCar mentioned. Anyone have one they's be prepared to part with/lend me?
